But the numbers don’t lie: less than 1% of venture capital funding goes to Black Women business owners. Still, despite the odds, we show up, we build and we thrive. Because that’s what we do.

Leveraging the Business Directory
This year, we’re doubling down on expanding the Buy From A Black Woman Directory because it's not just a list of businesses, it’s a movement. Every business that joins the directory strengthens the foundation of our community. Every listing amplifies our collective voice and every purchase fuels the economy we’re building together.
Our goal for Q1 is to onboard at least 100 new businesses, with a particular focus on underrepresented industries like tech, wellness and sustainable goods. We’re also targeting businesses in regions where our presence can make the most impact, such as the Midwest and the South. This isn’t just about visibility, it’s about power, influence and impact. When more businesses join the directory, we grow stronger, louder and more unstoppable.
